The Inside - Going Downstairs

When you first come in, you're on the middle level, the part on the right when you're looking at the house from the front.  It has the living room in the front and a dining room and kitchen in the back.

This is the view from the living room, looking toward the stairs.  The door to the kitchen is on the right.  The right-hand stairs go upstairs, where there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.  The ones on the left go downstairs, where there's a family room (we're turning it into a gym), office and utility room.

So, about the family room/gym.  It's funny-looking, with all the brick and paneling.  We're brightening it up; more on that to come.  For now, here's a picture of it, with other people's furniture in it.  Note the railroad tie mantel.

And here's the office.  Obviously we're keeping the golf curtains.  Just kidding.  They took the brick and wood shelves too.

There's a utility room too, with all the big furnace stuff in it, but we didn't take any pics of that since it is unbeautiful.  It has the washer and dryer too.
